I have always been brand loyal to Ariat and these are no exception. They are marketed as a work boot and I can definitely see why, but I Think they would be fine for anybody. I got these to wear in the fall and winter when it’s more wet outside To wear instead of my regular cowboy boots or snow boots. I really love that they are a western style but also great in any type of weather and waterproof. I love wearing cowboy boots but I don’t always wanna wear my leather cowboy boots when it’s wet outside so these are going to be a great alternative. They are not too clunky and they feel pretty light weight. I bought a size 8 and I feel like they are very true to size; I wouldn’t want it any bigger or smaller. Highly recommend If you were looking for an all weather boots with a country edge.

I wear Ariat boots(Fat Baby) for riding and barn chores. Size 11 fits just right. Bought these in size 11 and they felt tight. They are too expensive for me to see if they stretch a bit. They also hit my shin area in a bothersome way when I walked. Looked great and well made. Just not for me. I returned

Very comfortable ankle boots. Seems to have extra padding in foot bed , which means I can stand all day without my feet aching when I get home. They are not the most fashionable of shoes but extremely comfortable.

I was nervous about buying this boot because I loved the old twin gore style. I had bought my first pair ten years ago and the sole just now fell off. But the new ones are great so far and seem almost sturdier than the old pair.

These boots are the best. I live in these from fall to spring to walk the dog, shop, and ride. I have a separate pair for the barn. I have a number of Ariat boots and the footbed and cushion on these is superior. I wish Ariat would use this same footbed for tall boots. For reference, I take a ten in some Ariat like coniston and a 9.5 in Wexford and these. These are definitely more roomy in the toe without any slippage. They are not as narrow as Wexford or Keswick, which is better looking but extremely narrow- unwearable for normal width feet. I keep coming back to these again and again.

I have been looking for an all weather boot for months. I wanted one that was stylish and had a wide toe box. I found it in this boot by Ariat. The arch support is great. There’s a perfect amount of room for my toes to move about. I normally wear a 9.5, and ordered that size in this boot, but it was a bit big. A 9.5 for the Barnyard boot is a 41 in EU sizing. I wear a 40, so I swapped the 9.5 for a 9 (thank you, Zappos), and the 9 (40EU) fits like a glove. I love these boots and look forward to wearing them in the rain this weekend!

I’ve now had these for a year and a half and I love them! They are my go to boot for chores and doing ground work (I do not ride in them). They’re comfy, tough, and I never get water in them! We’ve cleaned out flooded stalls and STILL completely dry socks! Well worth the money! I do have odors with the sizing of all Ariat boots, 7 is too small and 7.5 is a bit big, so i just added a sock liner insole as I do with all of them.

My whole family (and barn friends) rave about blundstones, and they never worked for me. But I wanted a durable, low boot for barn chores and barn days I wasn’t riding. These are INCREDIBLE. They are so comfortable I never want to take them off. Thick squishy tread (usually I like a thinner sole, but these are great). No break in period required. I’m a true 9.5 and the 9.5 fit perfect. THANK YOU Ariat for not only making half sizes, but a comfortable boot with a roomy toe box and a perfect fit. 10/10

I have been purchasing these specific boots for over 15 years. In the early years, they would last me 3-5 years – I know because of how many pairs I still have in my closet. Since 2020 though, the production and manufacturing must have changed either to a new factory or the materials cheapened because they have, consistently, failed at the 1 year mark each year. Where my break over is in my toe area, the back and forth crunching of leather/rubber over time is weakening that spot and caused separation of the sole and upper leather portion. This has happened on each pair I have bought since 2020 in the SAME place. Something has to change Ariat, you can do better! I will say, the 2nd star is given because your product team finally widened/softened the upper ankle portion so the first 10 times I wear them, I don’t cry in pain. They now come broken as far as that cuff area goes. Thank you for this. But the construction and quality of the adhesion to the sole needs looked at. As someone who works in manufacturing, this is clearly a design or materials issue. I wear these boots every day and my feet love them, I want to keep buying them but am now finally looking at other brands.

10 years ago I bought a pair of these boots. I wore them almost every day. I have arthritis in my feet. I was sad when my feet began hurting because the boots were wearing out. I was so happy to see that you still carry them and bought a new pair. No more sore feet! Thank you Ariat for keeping me moving! Here’s to another 10 years!

Love these boots! I wear them everyday for work and have no issues! Love that I can just slip them on and walk out the door.
LBRyder –
I love these boots! I got them to wear at the barn but they are so cute I want to wear them as a stylish chelsea boot with jeans and not get them too dirty! I’ve been doing a little of both. They are so comfortable, and fit true to size. I’m a 9 and got a 9 and they are perfect. I love the rugged look and the versatility.
PGMuck –
Great boot I loved it – looks cute on. I would wear these everywhere
Waterhorse34 –
These boots are amazing. I bought them for work (environmental consultant) and to be able to ride afterwards. I broke these boots in at the Midwest West Horse Fair where I averaged 30,000 steps a day for 4 days on concrete – no blisters and comfy. I also bar tend and wear these boots standing for 10 hours on concrete and no sore legs and feet! Run a little large, wish I got a half size smaller.
Sara B –
Great boots! Roomy and soft yet waterproof. Love the tabs at the back that make them so easy to put on. I can leave my spurs on and still slip easily into and out of these boots. I’ve been a Terrain fan for years but these are even quicker on/off. A new favorite!
AnDrea N –
They do run little big.
I’m a size 6.5 and had to return and order a size 6.
Rondawg –
I have had these boots for 3 weeks now. I wore them for hose testing as a fireman day one and put in 6 solid miles on concrete, then again another 6 the next day cutting trails on my farm. They broke in without blisters and are very water tight.
Chimpiesoo –
I purchased these boots in a 5.5 but they were too big. Ariat quickly organised my return. I then ordered two pairs a 5 and a 4.5, surprisingly the 4.5 are perfect and Ariat again quickly arranged my second return of the size 5. Great boots comfortable and stylish and fantastic company to deal with.

These are my station boots for fire fighting and they are absolutely incredible! They hold up to what I put them through, are comfortable and breathe.
Earthgirl –
These boots were perfect right out of the box. No break in time and very waterproof so far. They go with everything. I have had them for approximately two months wearing every day all day and they are not getting stinky. Previous boots get that mildew smell.
These are amazing. I bought a second pair for going out boots. My current pair is for working in the barn yard gardening and overall daily chores.
I may even buy a third pair just so I have a back up of a back up.
I got a 7.5 and the fit is right on point.
Vic15 –
Bought the boots in April and had them on for fencing and daily farmwork. Very good fit and comfy but I need to get som boots with steelcap too because of handling the horses.
RosieThe B –
At first, I wasn’t sure about the fit and my feet were sore/rubbing for a couple days, but once they broke in, I took them on a hike and they felt great. Gave me good stability on uneven terrain, felt solid and grippy on rocks and my feet were happy at the end of a long day of walking. The instep is high which is important for me. The width is normal- not too narrow but wish they came in wide. If they had come in a wide I would have been a half size down from my usual 7&1/2. I probably could have gone with a 7 if I planned to only wear thin socks but alas, winter is a reality here and I hope they last. Waterproofing is great so far. Easy to slip on and off. Not too hot. Overall a really nice boot. I hope they hold up.

The Barnyard Twin Gore ll Waterproff was comfortable for everyday use from day 1. It has a wide toe box and easy to slip on even with orthotics but does not slide around when you walk. Good traction sole. Fits just like the Ariat Barn Boot without a zipper.

Was hard for me getting it on and off because the leather was too stiff. Great quality, sadly I have to return.

Love, Love, So comfortable.
