Most clothing that claims to have a conceal carry pocket, it’s usually pretty noticeable and typically not very secure. Ariat actually got it right. Pocket is big enough to fit a Glock 20 with hunting barrel and light and still isn’t noticeable, while zipped the vest supports the weight really well. You won’t be winning any fast draws at high noon, that’s what a holster is for, but for clothing carry its pretty great. The fit is always a little weird for me with vests. As a 6’4″ skinny guy(175pounds) I typically wear medium shirts, I got a small for the vest and it gives me plenty of room for a hoodie underneath. Color is good too. Website doesn’t have the tan brown color I found in a western store. Pockets and vest are lined with a very soft insulating material. Holds claim to stopping wind. If you’re a gun slinger or not this is a perfect addition to your wardrobe.

Very comfortable, silky pockets, smooth zippers. It fits snug enough without. The concealed carry pocket is huge, but doesn’t provide much rigidity/support for compact firearms. If you want this type of vest, look for something more rigid. This vest is classy enough to wear in the office, or layer with a sweatshirt while working outdoors. Lastly, the double zipper on the bottom is HUGE when sitting down for long periods or in the truck, and keeps the vest from bunching up.

This is an awesome vest! I bought one vest at a local store, and liked it so much, I immediately purchased two more online in another two colors. They run a little on the larger size, but not too much. I typically wear an XL and can wear either a large or extra large comfortably. The lining on the inside of the vest and the pockets is very soft and comfortable. And they are very stylish. This is my first experience with Ariat clothing, other than boots, and I am extremely impressed. I’ll be adding more to the closest soon!

Its so amazing!! I got this for my bf and it is so warm and not bulky. The inside is like this soft warm material and the pockets have it inside as-well, which keeps hands warm! The size also depends on ur t- shirt or button up shirt size.
