Being a lineman we always wore cathartt. Fed up with the fit and inconsistent size of carhartts and after trying the Ariat m4 for regular everyday wear I decided to purchase the Ariat Fr m4. Boy these pants fit identical to the non fr m4 pants. Really happy with the fit and so far holding up great. Except for the couple small FR tags these look just as great as my other Ariat pants and fit great with my cowboy boots or my lineman boots. I normally wore 33 or 34 waist and found a 32 ariats fit great.

I love the way they fit and wear during work they are very comfortable

It’s a shame, because these are the only FR pants I have found that are designed for someone younger then your grandpa’s generation. Low rise comfort let you work. BUT! The crotch comes unstitched on every pair of Ariat FR jeans I have. This happens within weeks of owning. My non FR ariats have never had this problem not sure why they can’t get FR jeans right. It’s frustrating since I have to wear them to work every day and not sure if at some given point is my junk gonna fall out. I’ve been sticthing them up and reinforcing the crotch as soon as I buy them but that’s kinda aggravating to have to do that after paying $80+ for them. I would only recommend them to others because off the nice fit at the waist and maneuverability, where as most brands of FR have waists that come up to your chest like your grandpa use to wear. Not pleased about having the crotches come unstitched, if there were more women in the line industry is be worried about getting in trouble when the pants go bad.

I love how my Ariat jeans fit like a glove, one of the best work related purchases ever mad.

Ive worn these jeans for years. Sometime recently it seems yall changed more than. Just your tag style. The jeans which used to fit me perfectly are now way to tight in the thigh and crotch area. Even after trying to go up a size they still fit tight. Way to ruin a good pair of jeans

Good pants need crotch re-enforcing tho! I like them and I?m buying two more pairs now!

Have had at least 10 pairs over the past couple years, and every single pair gets a hole in the inseam/crotch area. Figured I’d google the issue to see lots of others with the same issue. Will not be buying any more pairs

After buying my first pair of these, I am hooked. The quality is perfect and the fit is just right from top to bottom! They are softer than the more rugged blue jean types. I have received several compliments about how well they look. I have since bought three additional pairs and are now they only style I will wear!
