I am a huge fan of Ariat. I have Fat Baby boots, lace up boots, and slip on leather shoes so I was a bit surprised by the narrowness. I have a narrow foot so it is no problem. The seam across the top of the toes seems a bit stiff. I just got them and am optimistic with a bit of wear they soon will be as comfortable as all my other Ariat boots.

These are lovely boots, well made with the usual Ariat quality. I only returned them because I was comparing them with another equestrian boot, and I decided to stick with the other ones. I love ya Zappos! Don’t be mad at me 🙂 (And if you carried other brands of equestrian boots, like for actual riding, I would love it!!) xo

Like my other Ariats, the boot fits well and is supportive. The top of the boot that meets my leg is a bit stiff and uncomfortable. I will keep them because the boots fit my feet so well, but wish more care had gone into the design and comfort of the upper part. Hey Ariat make some more loafers and casual shoe styles.

Seams and leather broken after just two months. Useless.

This is my 2nd pair of Ariat waterproof zip paddock boots, and let me twll you, I LOVE THEM!! I can ride and walk around in these all day long, without my feet getting tired or wet. And I love the way they fit my ankles. They are not wuper wide like some of the other zip paddock boots out there. My favorite boot to spend the day at the barn in!

Great looking shoe. A little tight on the top of the foot and super sturdy but I think that’ll get better as they get broken in. Very comfortable besides that. Also, super warm, and waterproof. Great for a Boston Winter. A negative is that they seem to get scuffed easily, I’ll just have to shine them more often than other shoes. Would buy again, already have gotten a lot of use out of them
Bullie G –
I walk 46 miles daily year round. These boots were comfortable right out of the box with my thin and medium weight wool socks. They look great too! Thanks, Ariat!

These boots are workhorses. They’re tough, comfortable even when I’m on my feet all day, and waterproof. I wear them to teach, do farm chores and around town (after a quick cleaning). They’re perfect for riding, of course. The slim design makes them fit comfortably under a half chap and the toe is narrow enough to make picking up a lost stirrup super easy. If you have a higher instep, need a slightly wider boot, or need ankle support I would suggest the lace-up version instead of the zip.

These are the only boots I’ll ever purchase! The quality is unmatched, and they are so comfortable. As someone who is on their feet majority of the day it’s crucial to wear something that will take good care of your feet, and these do just that!
Kf27 –
These boots last forever and my daughter loves them. Wears them everywhere, even outside the barn!
Amy L –
These boots were comfortable right out of the box! I did have to size up a half size, and they are perfect!

I love my now third pair of the Heritage IV paddock boots. I wear the 7.5 wide width. Only two complaints is they don’t carry wide width in brown and that the 8 in standard width (my go to when 7.5 wide is not available) is too narrow across the top of foot. I have traveled to several countries and across US with these boots and they hold up to the walking. Have walked in Houston Texas rain and stayed dry. Walked in snowy conditions in Colorado and Northern Oklahoma and stayed warm and dry. Definitely getting another pair soon. Wish brown was in wide widths or we could customize.

These are my first ever paddock boots. I have a young colt that was in stall rest for over two months. I got these to do all of my hand walking and never regretted purchasing them. Very lightweight, but still has amazing support for my feet and spine. I chose the fully waterproof ones so that I never had to worry about the conditions while doing my hand walking. My western boots always have my spurs on them, so these truly were a great option for me.

Only a handful of wears so far, but I love this supportive boot. I have a wide foot so sized a 1/2 size up and it feels great.
Lynnee W –
too tight across the top of my feet. your sizing is just plain off anymore. I was a long time Ariat fan, but no more.
April D –
Great quality, durable and polishes up like new. Best pair of boots we’ve owned.
Scout44 –
These are awesome boots that you can tell are crafted with care and the highest quality materials! Beautiful and durable riding boots!
JJBB –
Love these boots. Comfortable for long days of riding and walking around my barn too. My go to boots, my first pair lasted 2 years!
Liz63 –
Comfortable, great arch support, and they’re waterproof!
Anna C –
Love these boots! They are my third pair and they break in so well. True to size and love how they are waterproof too.
Horse L –
No break-in period, perfect fit and comfortable for all day wear. A classic look that gets many compliments. Main use is for barn work and English riding. This is my 2nd purchase as my granddaughter out grew the 1st pair.
AdventureTime –
Boot is very comfortable. Runs a little big, I’m usually at 10 in sneakers and a 9.5 in heels. The 9.5 fits perfect. The ankle is a little on the smaller side. If your ankle is not on the thinner side you may have a hard time zipping them all the way up. Overall the boot is wonderful for outside work and super comfortable. Getting mud off the sole is rather easy as well!
SGArabians –
These shoes are super durable and long lasting. One pair lasts me a year and I wear them heavily. I wear them daily anywhere from a couple hours (usually only in the winter) to all day (during show season). I wear them to not only ride, but do all my farm chores in them.
Elizabeth –
Reliable quality, quick delivery.
Dressage R –
I will never buy any other paddock boots. I can’t think of any other shoes/boots that are as comfortable. I can wear all day long and my feet are never sore or tired.
