Buy this boot. Now. After three years of heavy use, my Blundstones had become unaccountably uncomfortable, so I began an intensive search for my next work boot. Since half my time is spent in an office and meetings, I wanted a dressier boot that could still hold up to the demands of working long shifts on my feet in a busy kitchen. These are nearly perfect. They’re gorgeous, require no break in time, and feel sturdy and well-made. My only two qualms are that the soles squeak a bit on linoleum (I hope some sole-scuffing will cure that) and the cushioning under the ball of the foot is nonexistent, but that’s easily solved with inserts. My first day wearing these I walked 2.5 miles to and from work and spent five hours in the kitchen before returning to my desk. No blisters, no soreness in my legs or back … these ladies are keepers!

Ah.may.zing. I got them because they’re cute but the leather is wonderful – buttery and soft. But ALSO probably because they’re designed for actual sport (equestrianism) the inner support is incredible. I’ve lived in them for two days and my feet feel great. Incredible value for the price. Hurrah!

I’m recovering from ankle surgery and wanted to ease out of my soft brace and in to something with great ankle support and stylish. This boot was heaven sent-soft and supple yet very supportive.

I just started learning to ride and bought these as advised by my instructor. They surprised me because I usually need more arch support and for the first time, there is enough. They are very comfortable and very well made. I’ve been wearing them around town to break them in, but honestly, they don’t need it. Amazing and cute. As a plus, if a horse or anyone else steps on your foot, the toe cap is strong enough to withstand that.

These Ariat booties are super cute, but leave something to be desired. The heel and overall design are stylish, but the comfort level is low. The leather is a bit hard, especially at the tongue which makes them hard to lace up. The laces are stiff. The shoes are small in length and width than expected. I think they would be quite comfortable if they were a bit bigger. Great price for an okay bootie.

LOVE these boots. I live and take the bus to work in Seattle, these are great for walking in the rain and waiting for the bus and tromping around doing errands…. comfy from the first day! They have lots of room in the toe box which I like, and great supportive insoles. AND they are good looking enough that I wear them all day at work, don’t have to change from rubber rain boots to other shoes every day. for me a great purchase

Geee, I expected with the Ariat name that these boots would be made of better quality materials.
They were immediately returned. 🙁

I love Ariat but these boots were so incredibly uncomfortable. Very hard and stiff. As soon as I put them on, I took them off. It was not even worth trying to break them in. They look cute but are the most uncomfortable boots I have ever tried on. Very disappointed. Not like any of my other Ariat purchases.

Look was great, length was true to size but width over arch was very tight. Tongue was thinner than I would like. I am returning because I don’t want to guess which wider size would relieve the tightness.

These boots are really stylish, but they definitely felt too big by half a size. I bought an 8.5, which is my normal size). I also found the leather to be extremely stiff and uncomfortable to walk in, and while it would have probably softened up with time, I decided it would be best to send them back. For $100, I want a shoe that fits perfect and feels nice right away.

I ride and work with horses, so I’ve worn Ariats since forever. I don’t wear them for fashion though they do look good … I put them thru the wringer and they are tough, strong, comfortable, and just a high quality boot. I don’t buy anything else.

Fit and size are good. I think that the leather around the ankle is a little bit too thin. I am going with the Ariat with a second piece of leather sewn to the inside.

The material is lovely and the lacing is nice too — however, this boot is snug for those of us who normally wear wide width shoes, even at a half size up. More importantly, it’s uncomfortably tight on high insteps. The lacing starts just above the instep so it’s not possible to loosen the fit across the top of the foot. It’s a lovely boot, just not for my foot shape.

The leather is amazingly stiff and the boots were tight across the mid foot. It was hard to get my foot into the boot and once it was in, the boot was so stiff I immediately took them off and sent them back. Not worth the price. Just not a comfortable boot.

The leather was so stiff that it was uncomfortable above the ankle and I just don’t have the time to break them in.

I’ve owned these boots in the past and wore them out over a number of years. However this replacement was less comfortable – leather was stiff, they seemed smaller and narrower than the older model, and they squeaked loudly where the tongue attaches to the boot. The leather feels waxy – maybe for weather resistance? Great looking but sorry to return them.

These are terrible! Not the Ariat quality we’re used to. I have a difficult time believing they are genuine leather. They feel like hard plastic and I do not believe they will stand the test of barn duties and riding. Returning. We will stick with the Ariat Heritage Breeze Lace Paddock.

The boots fit the style I was looking for, slim, low profile, minimal design. The boots are made for practical use, but I’m not a horseback rider, I chose these purely for style. Despite the practicals, no one that I asked could tell these were horseback riding boots. The details I was worried about (the curved side sole and rubber nub on back of heel) do not stand out. These do not have a side zipper but they do have speed hooks, so they are still quick to put on. The boots do require some breaking in, I’ve been wearing these when I go outside for 3 days and they are slightly uncomfortable but not as much as they were on day one. I would recommend these to anyone looking for a minimal, stylish boot.

I’ve worn and loved Ariat Terrain boots for years, so when I needed a pair of boots to wear with black slacks, I chose the Paddocks.
I wear orthotics, and the shoes are so small that I can only wear thin nylon socks and be comfortable.
Also, the tongue looks suspiciously like vinyl.
Overall I like them, but not as much as I had hoped to.

These are my favorite pair of boots, my hubby got me a new pair for my birthday last September and I’ve worn them consistently since. The downside is that the sole is already starting to separate at the toe of one of the boots. The previous pair I owned lasted me years and years, this pair hasn’t even lasted 6 months before tearing…Might just have been a problem with the leather, but I’m not sure. I definitely do recommend these boots though. They are beyond comfortable, and always stylish even just for every day wear.

I have had these shoes for a little over a year before the toe cap began to split on both shoes, the leather even with care and conditioning has begun to crack where it connects to the sole.
Otherwise extremely comfortable shoe no need to break in and looks fantastic! Was hoping to invest in a good pair that would last a few years.

I really wanted to like these boots, but the heal was a little off for me. They are very well made and attractive. I returned the boot.

With an array of combat boots as my daily drivers for the last 10+ years, I was looking for a more durable pair of boots with similar style. Something I could and would wear with everything, comfortable, and long lasting and I think I found them. By far the most comfortable shoes I’ve ever owned, needed no breaking in. Receive compliments on them often. Haven’t had them long so can’t gauge durability and life, but feel solid! Seriously look great with EVERYTHING. I wear with jeans, leggings, dresses and shorts. Not bulky, very sleek. Don’t mind the lace ups compared to my last many pairs that have conveniently zipped. Very quick and easy to put on and go. Love these boots and will buy for years to come if they prove to last!

Amazing Quality and Super comfortable. Good to Wear whether you are riding or just going out. I recommend to anyone interested in getting these Boots.

I loved these boots for the high quality construction and good support they offer. Lightweight and sturdy, all at once. Effectively gripped the floor without feeling clunky. But they were just a bit too narrow for the span of my toes.
