This may read as a paddock boot, but it has urban elegance and looks lovely with leggings and a tunic. My size 11 narrow-footed daughter likes these in a size 11. She sent the Kate Spade and the Doc Martins back. Yay, finally a black bootie that is the right fit for a hard to fit foot. We love Zappos!

Nice boot but I should have gotten the lace up version due to my super high arches. They are stretching out but I’m thinking about having my sister cram her 8.5 feet into these 6.5 to stretch them more!

My 2 daughters love these boots. They ar comfortable and stylish. Both of them have long narrow feet.

Generally comfortable and stylish. A little squeaky. I considered returning them but decided to stick with them.

Ariat does it again! I have yet to find anything negative to say about this company.
I purchased these boots for riding and they have held up very well in the rain and mud! Out of the box they fit like a glove; no breaking in required.
For those interested in the Heritage boot, I have tried both. The boots are very similar in look, feel, and comfort; however, I felt my foot sat better in the Scout.

Wow, these are good-looking boots. Unfortunately, they are too heavy for me. The leather, although a good quality, is too stiff for my aged feet. I enjoyed putting them on (they are comfortable) and strutting around the room a bit, though.

Perfect for my daughter. She loves them. Great ankle support. Flexible and durable.

I love these boots. The only complaint I would have is that the calf area is super small. So being a new boot, they are going to be super stiff and it is uncomfortable at first. Other than that, the material quality is great!

Bought them for my kiddo after the size 6 was way too tight. He wears a size 5.5 sneaker.

I didn’t have to break these in at ALL! So comfortable, you can just focus on your ride. Very impressed.

I am new to riding and wanted some good boots and these were exactly what I was looking for. I ordered a 10.5 and they fit perfectly not too tight or narrow.

Beautiful well made boots. I generally take a size 6 in athletic shoes but sometimes a 5.5 works better. This is one of those instances. Zappos recommended a size 6 but I had already tried that size locally and knew it was too long. The size 5.5 is perfect and not too narrow which was a concern as the ball of my foot is wider and many reviews talked about this boot being narrow.
The zip around the ankles is pretty tight but that doesn’t bother me. If you wanted to save some money you could get the kids version in a size 3 and replace the insoles with something thinner. The quality isn’t as good and it is looser on the ankle which I didn’t like but others may prefer.

I bout a pair for myself five months ago and they are still like new Even though I wear them constantly. We bought a pair for a friend recently too and they are working great. Correct sizing is important because if fitted well they fit to your foot like a glove.

Nice boot overall, but the opening was too narrow for that high on my calf, making the boot rub and create sore spots.

I’m a new rider, and after many recommendations I finally got this boot. I was a bit worried about the pricing, but after receiving it and wearing it for the past few weeks, I can see it was clearly worthwhile!
The leather is soft and comfortable, and had softened to my foot. It’s also easy to clean off after a long dusty day, and keeps all the water out! The only thing I would say is that after a lot of action the zipper might slip down a bit. It’s never slipped all the way open, just a bit at the top, but it would be cool to see a mechanism to fix it in place in the future!
I really love how comfortable and nice it feels though. Absolutely would recommend. I got a size six and it fit perfectly.

This is my third pair, always very comfortable, and warm. I wear them as urban boots all throughout the winter. They last long, too. The material is matte black leather.

I purchased these for everyday, non-riding use, based on a recommendation that I saw in the media (perhaps a fashion blog)? I loved the look, and assumed that this would be a sturdy, comfortable boot–and it is, but I think this is still more of a functional boot than a walking boot. Perhaps the leather softens over time, but there is a lot of rubber on the sides that is more for riding. In short, I think that if I were to take up riding (which I actually may in the future) and wanted a boot that could go from stable to street, I would stick with these. But for now, I need a more comfortable walking boot.

I love my Ariat paddock boots. Always comfortable and sturdy. I wear them everyday and they last such a long time. Great not just for English but also western if you have to wear a spur, the boot stays on your foot instead of pulling the western boot off when you need to use a spur.

These are my first pair of paddock boots and I absolutely love them. From the first day I put these boots on they have been so comfortable. I wear them with below the ankle socks and they are still extremely comfortable. Definitely would recommend them.

Such a sleek and comfortable boot, I love it. It cleans easily. Fits perfectly, true to size. I’m a first time horseback rider and this boot it’s making my experience even more enjoyable than it already is.

Good shoe. It fit well. However I have to watch what socks I wear. They have to be thinner weight socks

The Zip Paddock has been my favorite work boot for years. Last winter I strayed and bought a different boot with a higher platform (and no support). I got plantar fasciitis as a result. Never again.

Great! I only returned it for a smaller size. Comfortable!
SBoon –
Fiest time I have tried the Paddock Boots.
Very comfortable! I have wider feet and they fit perfectly.

Not as comfortable as the Ariat Heritage IV Zip Paddock boot.
