These boots are great. They hit just below my knees, have good structure (not slouchy) and look very nice. I can wear them at work or casually. They do seem to be waterproof so far, though I haven’t tested them rigorously yet. My only wish is that the toe box were a bit wider and it was a bit more snug about the arch of the foot – this is common for me with boots of this style though. I’d say they fit comparably to many other brands and run true to size. Beyond having a slightly more narrow toe box than I’d like, these are very comfortable boots.

The boots are beautiful and so far really warm. The reason for the 4 stars rather than 5 is that because of the cut I get this odd set of indentations In the back elastic part of the boot as a foot flexes when you walk and the boot doesn’t quite account for that. I wasn’t sure they would be comfortable but they are almost perfect. The toe narrows a bit too quickly and that with the lack of flexibility gives them a 4 rather than 5. I feel they are well worth the money so far. Hopefully the back won’t break down due to the indents.

I loved these boots at first, very comfy for two months. Wore with thick socks for a slightly longer walk than normal and came home with a large blister on the back of one heel. Boots have a nasty seam on the side right at the heel bone and this has rubbed, the seam felt sharper on the right boot. Ariat looked at them and claimed, no issue with the boots. I’m now stuck with boots that I cannot wear.

2nd pair – love these, tight in arch until broken in (3 wears) heal has a better base in this version. I use these for walking the dogs through some heavy grass that gets very soggy after a rain.

I have had these boots less than a month. Here in western Washington we’ve had a very wet spring, and these boots already failed turning horses out on pasture. Walking through wet grass to turn out 6 horses and my feet were wet. I’m pretty disappointed that they failed, I like how light weight they are and hoped they would be perfect for bathing horses this summer. I also have to say the they are a little tight through the toes, my pinky toes feel squished and I do not have wide feet.

I was concerned that the boots might be narrow on me, as i have very sensitive bones across the front of my foot and normally buy wide shoes and boots. These were exceptionally comfortable after just a day of using a block to minimally stretch them. I can wear them all day, they are very comfortable and i get a lot of compliments.

This boot is lovely, but it is too tall! Coming in at 16 3/4, it was hitting and rubbing my knee. Sad, but it will have to be returned.

I love the style of these boots, they fit like a glove and are super easy to put on and take off. Great quality as always from Ariat. To my own surprise, I didn’t end up keeping them because I was looking for a lighter shade of brown, but if this were offered in more colors, this boot would have been it!

I got the boot in dark brown. I am a size 11 and my foot is pretty narrow. Ariat doesn’t make narrow shoes really, but the boot fit pretty well. Even with a medium with. I did not feel that my foot was sliding around too much. I thought that the comfort was supportive enough for a whole day’s work without any pain. I’m very particular about my shoes and can usually only wear shoes such as Clark’s or San Antonio shoe store that specialize in comfort. I felt that these boots were up to those standards as well. I had bought this season’s Clark’s boots and I thought that these Ariat boots were actually much more comfortable.

I ordered a 9 1/2 to allow for thick sock. Even with a thin sock the boots were too short and the toe box too narrow. I’ve ever had o order a size 10 before

I have been looking for a pair of brown riding boots (flat heel) for I do not know how long. I have ordered and returned a numerous number of boots. Some of them my calf did not fit, some of them were too loose, some of them were too slouchy, etc etc. My calf is athletic and not on the big or small side and it was really difficult to find boots that hugged my calf just right. Upon reading the answers re: Calf Circumference provided by the company to the questions posted here, I thought I could gamble on this pair. And it paid off. Thanks for the employees who worked hard providing answers to the questions being asked here. Now… it’s not 100%. The ankle area is too lose in some parts but also there is a hard part that bothers me a little, and I think I will need a bit of a breakin period. I do wish it was a bit tighter also. But overall, this pair meets 90% of my wishes and I think that’s the best I am going to get from a commercially available boots. Never heard of this brand until I started searching but now I am sold!

I managed to nab these while they were on sale after coveting them for ages. They’re everything I expected – comfort and real style. They break in so nicely. They’re pretty on the inside too – they have this nice plaid lining.

Loved it, but felt a half size too small. Exchanging for half size larger

Over the moon with this purchase. They are gorgeous. Im usually a size 8 in moat shoes and have wide calf. These boots are great becauae the stretchy material expands and compresses my calf. My only issue about these boots was putting them on, it was a very tight squeeze. Hoping that I can break them in and that won’t be an issue in the future. Overall great boots highly recommend!

If you wear the Ariat brand then they will work for you.

I usually can’t get regular calf boots over my calves, I am right on the cusp of needing wide, but these worked because of the elastic!
