Ariat Terrain Waterproof –
I ordered the Ariat Terrain Copper Waterproof boots. One thing to note is that you should definitely order a full size below your shoe size. But the boot is very very comfortable. I rode and worked in it the other day and my feet didn’t hurt at the end of the day for once. I also gave one of our horses a bath and tramped through some mud and the boots protected my foot just great. My only comment is that the back of my heel felt a little sore, but I wasn’t wearing the best socks when I work them, so that is probably the problem. Overall, this is a GREAT shoe!

These boots were recommended by the guide for a backcountry horseback/hiking trip in the Tetons. A good call to order a half size smaller than normal. Took them on a two-hour trail ride last weekend, and they were great.

Love these boots. I’ve always been a fan of Ariat, but these really did the trick. Wore them for a full weekend immediately after receiving them. The heel is a little larger than my last pair of Ariats, but a thicker pair of socks took care of the issue.

I have purchased many shoes over the past 3 years from Zappos, from mules, sandals, dress/casual. I love the large selection, the ability to order the shoe in 2 sizes dependent on style/cut, and return what does not fit at no charge. Free shipping both ways! What a company. I live over an hour 1/2 from the closest mall. So shopping Zappos is wonderful, it is not an all day planned event. I purchased these riding shoes as my current ones are over 8 years old and I desperately need new ones and there are no nearby tack shops to purchase from. The Horse catalogs charge shipping both ways which is not economical if shoes do not fit. So I was very happy that Zappos carried this particular brand of equestrian riding shoe. Thanks Zappos. I usually wear size 8, bought these boots in 7.5 and they fit great with thick socks. Attractive boot, good arch support and insole, I usually get ball of foot pain in all types of footwear, but not a bit in these; comfortable from the moment I put them on and even after full day and evening of wearing them. They do scuff but you could put protective finish on if that bothers you. Very happy with this purchase and will definitely look for more Ariat products. Exceptional quality at a very reasonable price.

This is my third pair of the Ariat Terrain. I live on 15 acres, have horses, and do a great deal of work on the property. These shoes are great, comfortable, and versatile. I not only use them to ride my horses, but around the barn, on the property for projects, etc. Worth the money, good fit, wear in all weather.

Solid boots; great support. I might need a patch of moleskin for some chafing on my heel till I break them in properly. Otherwise, my feet feel happy in these boots. My feet are a tad larger than a traditional size 10, so the slightly larger sizing works great for my feet!

I love it! This is an incredible boot to use for working around the barn! Very comfortable, very sturdy, and this style is waterproof, on top of that! I couldn’t find any regular cowboy boots that were comfortable around my ankles, so I ride in these also, and they’re great for that, also! I highly recommend it!

I love these boots. They are very comfortable with excellent support. I\’m not in a hurry to take them off as soon as I get in the house. I wear them everywhere. This is my second pair (different color). They feel about one half a size larger, but I\’ll be able to wear heavy socks with them this winter. I am a satisfied customer.

I bought these because I needed a barn boot for warmer weather, but also because they are waterproof. I usually wear an 8.5 in most shoes, but bought these in an 8, since that is the Ariat size that usually fits me, and the 8 was perfect. Being waterproof, they are still pretty warm, but it sure beats wearing a rubber boot. And they are very, very comfortable! Great support and cushioning- I can stand in them all day. I would definitely recommend them, and Zappos is always awesome to order from! I received the boots the day after I ordered! And the shipping was free, can’t beat that!

Love this boot. Was looking for a hard working boot to wear on a deer farm. Comfort is exceptional, tread is just right (doesn’t pick up too much and cleans easily) and I have even worn them hiking.

First, I absolutely love Zappos. These Ariat hikers are one of many pairs of shoes purchased from Zappos. The half size smaller fit perfectly with a medium thickness sock. I did not have to break them in; they were comfortable from the get-go. I would highly recommended Ariats to anyone. My husband has two pairs!

These boots take such good care of my feet. They are easy and comfortable to wear, with strong arch support. I do a lot of walking on trails with uneven footing, and these boots are like a good suspension system in a car. During or after rain, the boots get wet but my feet stay dry.

This was the best last minute purchase I’ve ever made!!! I ordered the boots to take on a woman’s wellness weekend where I knew there’d be hiking, the forecast did not call for rain but I figured if I was going to buy my only pair of hiking boots I might as well spend the extra few dollars to make them waterproof. Of course it rained the entire weekend and I was the only one with dry feet!!! I ordered these on a Tuesday night at about 2am (that’s when all my brainstorms occur), they arrived Thursday and I left on Friday. Right out of the box they were comfortable. I wore them all weekend, including a hike up the Appalachian Trail, and my feet were the only thing that did not hurt me! Buy them!

Fit perfect is first moment I slipped on these boots. Wide enough toe box for my size 10 feet. Toes still wiggle!

I really wanted to love this boot but can’t even like it. It runs long and narrow. I have bunions and ordered a wide. The wide felt like a medium width. It wasn’t wide at all. There is no room in the toe box of this boot. I wear a 7.5 or an 8 depending on the boot. The 7.5 was too long. If you have long narrow feet you will love this boot. If you have wide feet or bunions then you may want to keep looking.
